Greenhouse gas holding lease

A greenhouse gas (GHG) holding lease authorises the lessee to explore in the lease area for potential GHG storage formations and potential GHG injection sites A GHG holding lease provides security of title that is not currently in a position to inject and permanently store a GHG substance, but is likely to become so within 15 years.
