Notes on completing the monthly production report template

Production licensees must submit a monthly production report for each production licence. These notes are general guidance to assist you to complete the report template.

This relates to the:

• Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Resource Management and Administration) Regulations 2011 (RMA Regulations 2011).

New version takes effect 31 March 2026

The below revised version replaces Version 1.3 on 31 March 2026 when the remade RMA Regulations 2025 commence:

What to include in the report

To help you ensure you submit all the required information, we recommend using the Monthly production report template on our Reporting templates page. If you are unable to use the template, you must provide all the information required by the approved form in a Microsoft Excel format.
