The Australian Government has launched a statutory review of the National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator (NOPTA), covering our activities from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2024.
Stakeholders are invited to provide written submissions to the review by 2 October 2026.
The review will examine NOPTA's efficiency and effectiveness as Australia's offshore petroleum and greenhouse gas storage titles administrator.
The review is being conducted under section 695P the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2006.
