The Australian Government has released the Guideline: Offshore Electricity Infrastructure Licence Administration – Feasibility Licences (the Guideline).
The Guideline assists prospective licence holders, and other stakeholders, to understand the requirements and processes for feasibility licences under the Offshore Electricity Infrastructure Act 2021 and the Offshore Electricity Infrastructure Regulations 2022.
The Registrar Forms Guide (the RFG) has also been published to assist prospective licence holders in preparing feasibility licence application submissions, along with the approved Application Form. The RFG includes application content guidance for feasibility licence applications.
All these documents and other relevant information can be found on the Registrar’s website at www.offshoreregistrar.gov.au.
The Offshore Infrastructure Registrar will be hosting group information sessions on the contents of these documents in early 2023.
If you have any questions in relation to the Guideline, the RFG or the Application Form, please compile these questions and email them to offshoreelectricity@nopta.gov.au.
