NOPTA has published a revised Transfers and dealings in petroleum titles guideline (the Guideline) for applications submitted under the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2006. The Guideline is effective from 11 May 2018 and can be accessed from the Offshore petroleum guidelines page.
The revised Guideline includes updated information for applicants to provide in support of transfer and/ or dealing applications. It also outlines assessment and decision making considerations that will be taken into account by NOPTA, including decommissioning liabilities for relevant applications.
