National Archives of Australia Award for Digital Excellence

Among the 22 agencies that were nominated, NOPTA has been awarded the 2015 Winner of the Small Agency category when the National Archives of Australia held its inaugural Awards for Digital Excellence. These awards recognise and promote excellence and innovation in the management, use and reuse of digital information by Australian Government agencies.

NOPTA's commitment to continuous improvement includes a shift to an enhanced digital culture that has been rewarded by the reduction in the amount of time spent on records management—meaning NOPTA is able to maximise the value of its digital records, streamline its internal administrative processes, and relieve regulatory burden.
